Muscle Team Adventure Challenge

The Muscle Team Adventure Challenge is an initiative of Muscular Dystrophy South Australia which raises essential funds to support children and adults living with a neuromuscular condition.

In 2016-17, Muscular Dystrophy South Australia has joined forces with Andrew ‘Cosi’ Costello (South
Aussie with Cosi
) to offer you a cultural and charitable experience of a lifetime.

Our tour, hosted by Cosi, will see participants journey deep into Cambodia, exploring the country’s rich, turbulent history and immersing themselves in Cambodian village life.

Participants will be required to fundraise a minimum of $3,000 for Muscular Dystrophy South Australia.  Of course, participants are encouraged to exceed their fundraising targets to help those most in need.

In addition to this, participants will also be required to cover the costs associated with this 7-day / 7-night tour which is an additional $3,150 - this includes flights, accommodation, rice, supplies and the building materials to construct the home.

Muscular Dystrophy South Australia

In Australia, it is estimated that 20,000 people have some form of neuromuscular condition. Many of these children and adults struggle with simple day to day activities – from teeth brushing to breathing independently.

Muscular Dystrophy South Australia works tirelessly to support our clients and their families by providing essential services including equipment loans, access to life-saving Cough Assist machines, therapies, respite camps, advocacy and vital condition information. Through these services, we are making a difference in the lives of hundreds of South Australian families.

Muscular dystrophy destroys a person’s muscles and the effects can breaks their family’s hearts. These individuals have hopes and dreams, but they need your help to change their future.
